Community Bible Experience has one simple goal: to change the way we read the Bible. Less like a reference book, more like a story. For thousands of churches, this 8-week journey has opened up a new conversation about the Scriptures.

To start, Community Bible Experience takes your church through the whole New Testament in just 40 days. Five days a week, around 12 pages a day, every word—helping you connect deeply with the stories and poetry, the characters, and teachings of the Bible. No chapter and verse numbers, no cross-references, no red letter. The Books of the Bible restores the text to a more original presentation, helping you see Scripture in its original context and uncover its original beauty.

Since 2011, Company Bell has been the chief creative partner of Community Bible Experience and has created a variety of projects to help the brand reach the millions of people in the U.S. and abroad experience this campaign. We’ve totally rebranded the Community Bible Experience organization, created animated video campaigns, lead promotional and appeal films, literature for individual and church-wide use, and assisted with the launch of social media and digital media communication tools. Coming soon in 2015 will be an all-encompassing iOS app.

Community Bible Experience animated film campaign. These videos provide background information and context for each day’s reading. In the Fall of 2014, 94% of polled participants said that these videos aided in their daily reading comprehension.

The campaign is comprised of 57 total videos, 39 of which are delivered daily by email during an individual’s campaign.

Wesleyan Denomination + Community Bible Experience

Company Bell created a video for the Wesleyan Denomination to use as they prepare to roll out Community Bible Experience to their entire denomination of 1,800 churches during Lent in 2014.

This piece, and its related edits, were shot on location in Indianapolis at the Wesleyan headquarters and at Spring Lake Wesleyan in Spring Lake, MI.
