Beginning in May 2013, Megan and Brian are beginning construction on a new location in Ludington called Barley & Rye. With less of an emphasis on Michigan-only products as with The Mitten, their new venture will have a fun, relaxed atmosphere and feature quality food. Working with the Enrollment Communications team at Calvin College, Company Bell produced 8 1-minute long films highlighting the various types of guy that comprise being a "Gentlemen of Calvin College." Locations included the Chapel, 3rd floor dorm room, baseball team locker room, the climbing wall, Heckman Library, Student Senate, Amway Corporation, and ROWSTER Coffee. Gentlemen themes included Brotherly, Sporting, Faithful, Scholarly, Prepared, Savvy, Invested, and Adventurous. These films were produced with a corresponding print campaign. I oversaw a team of professional and lay counselors, provided updates for a wide variety of media platforms, fundraised for operational expenses, and spoke publicly over 40 times in front of audiences between 200 and 2,500. Today, HeartSupport is still going strong thanks to a new team of individuals equally as impassioned.
